A growing appreciation of the finer things in life is leading today’s man to realize there’s no reason why he shouldn’t take as much care of his face as a women does of hers. Aerobic Dancing For Your Life

Posted By: admin on April 29, 2012 in Aerobic Dancing For Your Life - Comments: Comments Off on Aerobic Dancing For Your Life

Dancing involves vigorous jumping, kicking and bending to the beat of music; the benefits are comparable to those of jogging or swimming firmed muscles, stronger heart, extra energy. “It’s even better than energy.” says a bond salesman. A classmate claims it’s his tension safety valve.
With interest in physical fitness booming in the past ten years, dozens of exercise programs have come and gone. But aerobic dancing has stood the test of time. Largely through word of mouth advertising, it has grown from a single class in a church basement a decade ago to a nation wide craze today. Until recently, most of the students were woman that is changing. Men are rapidly becoming attracted to the sport. There is even a program designed for senior citizens.
Behind aerobic dancing is the remarkable success story of Jacki   Sorensen, creator and chairman of the board of Aerobic Dancing, Inc.
Sorensen’s aerobic dancing, Inc, has since grown to more than 160,000 students and 5000 instructors and programs have begun in Japan and Australia. But there’s plenty of competition. Local aerobic-dance programs are springing up every where. Dance-exercise also is proving a popular class in school systems among both boys and girls.
A typical class begins with a ten to fifteen-minute warm-up period of stretching exercises and sit-ups, followed by six to ten aerobic dances. After each dance, heart rates are monitored to ensure that they reach working levels but do not exceed safe limits. After about 45 minutes, class ends with a slow cool-down dance and some post-cool-down stretches to gradually bring down student’s heart rates. As a rule, students see improvement in their recovery heart rate within four to five weeks, Sorensen says. “And,” she adds, this becomes a motivating factor. They say, ‘Hey, not only is my heart recovering more quickly, which means it’s stronger, but I ‘m exercising harder. They may also begin to see the effect in the mirror-less flab and firmer muscles.
Sorensen recognizes, though, that health benefits alone will not keep people exercising. They also need to enjoy themselves. That is where the music comes in. “people feel the music when they’re dancing, and this becomes a high for them,” she says. “It also motivates them to move higher physically.”
In addition to the recommended twice-a-week classes students are advised to exercise once a week. This might consist of brisk walking, cycling or playing a favorite sport. Sorensen’s personal physical-fitness program includes dancing, Jogging, swimming, and cycling on a stationary bike.

A French Fashion Designer Can Only Lead To Spectacular Results

The Persians have an unfair advantage when it comes to interior design. Every apartment seems to have floor to ceiling windows that can be flung wide open on a sunny day, wonderful wooden parquet floors and a host of details that simply exude style before you even consider the décor.
And as if this weren’t enough, the walls of fashion designer Marie’s apartment in the Royal area of Paris also have their original decoration. Under two layers of wallpaper she found gloriously coloured, virtually intact frescoes in the early nineteenth century Directoire style making them, and the rest of the building, nearly as old as the French republic.
The wallpaper was removed by washing it with a stripping solution, then lifting it off centimeter by centimeter. The once vibrant frescoes are now subtly toning shades of red, orange and yellow. The lilac wall that separates the drawing room from the small bed-room must once have been a strong purple. Marie reckons this wall is a later addition, creating a small anteroom and private entrance to the apartment when it was part of a nineteenth-century bordello.
It would have been an obvious choice to decorate the apartment in the Directorie style, using furniture and accessories that set off the walls, but Marie says, “Although I love some elements of that look, I didn’t want to live in the past.”
Begin a fashion designer Marie knows all about fabrics. Her vibrantly coloured curtains are long lengths of silk mousseline and tulle draped over poles fixed along the tops of the windows. The same material partially screens off the kitchen shelves. Raffia fringing, bought from commercial haberdashers, makes an instant yet unspeakably chic trimming for the drapes and the tablecloths.
Where items aren’t in brilliant condition for example, the couch with adjustable sides in the small bedroom the whole thing is draped in rich velvet. Pairs of small mirror discs, joined by a length of rope, are twisted round the couch’s feet to create an intriguing detail. The theme of round mirrors hung on ropes recurs throughout the apartment. Their significance, says Marie, is simply that “I like their shapes and the way they reflect the room back into itself.”
Practically everything, down to the china and cutlery, was bought in Paris’s fantastic flea markets at Clignancourt, Montreil and Barbes including the cast iron bedside tables which once furnished a convent, and wire mesh fishing baskets that were easily turned into dramatic candle sconces. Marie also painted a head shape in wax on to an old, mesh grain sifter which now hangs proudly above the drawing room fireplace. When a candle is lit behind it the light casts strange patterns on to the ceiling. The black jardiniere, also in the drawing room, now contains a selection of Marie’s art materials. In the kitchen, two of the chairs are second hand; the others were made to match.
Marie also rents the floor below, to use as a studio-cum-showroom. Unlike most fashion designers she doesn’t produce collections that are then sold through shops. Instead she makes limited quantities of each design or, more often, designs costumes for commercials and events.
“I love it here. Even before I moved in I visited the apartment alone about six times, and each time I stayed longer and longer. I like the way soft, old elements of the flat are now provoked by the hard, new ideas. I find it a very stimulating environment for my work.

Kindly Give A Natural Smile

At some time during our adult lives, many people will lose one or more of their permanent teeth. When there is neglect of oral hygiene, teeth are usually lost due to tooth decay and gum disease some teeth can also be lost due to accidents.

When a tooth is lost, a person may opt to do nothing about replacing it. However, if the tooth loss affects the patient’s appearance and the ability to chew adequately, there is a greater chance that an effort will be made to replace the missing tooth.

The replacement of missing teeth is usually achieved in one of three ways: removable partial dentures fixed partial dentures and more suitable is the use of dental implants.

Implants:

Implants are to be used, surgery is then required to place the implants in the jaw bone. The length of time required for surgery depends on the number of implants required for that particular case.

After placement of the implants into the jaw bones, a prolonged healing time is required while the bone heals around the implants. It is vital for overall success that there is proper healing. After healing is complete, the artificial teeth can be made screwed or fitted into the implants.

Bridges:

The fabrication of traditional fixed bridgework requires removal of some enamel and dentine from some or all of the remaining natural teeth. The bridge is constructed and then cemented into place on the reduced, remaining natural teeth.

The major advantage of this type of bridge is that no removal of natural tooth substance is required. The adhesive bridge is fixed directly on to the enamel of the required remaining teeth.

Fixed partial dentures have the advantage of being fixed in place, so they can function much the same as natural teeth. How ever, like implants, they are difficult to keep clean. Bridge work can only be used where sufficient natural teeth remain and bone loss in the toothless areas is not excessive.

Dentures:

The removable partial denture is one of the most common means of replacing missing teeth. They can be constructed quickly. When many teeth have been lost and where there is limited bone present, a removable partial denture may be the only possible method of tooth and tissue replacement. An advantage of the removable partial denture is that it can be removed and cleaned outside the oral cavity.

Removable partial dentures are constructed of plastic or metal. Plastic dentures are the most common and have the advantages of being cheap, easy and quick to metal dentures are stronger and thus can be made smaller and less notice able to the patient.

Plastic materials can be shaded and tinted to appear the same as the natural or remaining gum tissue. With porcelain or plastic, false teeth can be made identical to the remaining natural teeth so that one can hardly tell the difference!

Dental disease:

Dental disease is caused by two main factors, dental, plaque and stress. Therefore, if dental plaque can be greatly reduced or eliminated, and the stresses applied to the remaining teeth kept to a minimum, then there should be no further problems of dental disease.
